Album Review: Idiopath by Kenton Hall

To accompany his feature film, Kenton Hall has released two classic pop/rock albums entitled Idiopath and Omniopath. The twin albums are Kenton Hall’s debut releases and act as two related albums that are linked in similarities.

Featuring the leading single ‘Maybe’, the debut album Idiopath is a mixture of rock and pop influences and varies in mood throughout the album. The leading song ‘Maybe’ starts with a bass line that dominates the song throughout, creating a darker feel to the song that gives off influences such as Arctic Monkeys. The track has a particular energy to it that is memorable and worthy of being a leading track.

Representing the energy of the album, the same can not be said about the general sound of the album as the album swings between genres.Even so,  the energy and atmospheric picture it paints for the listener remains throughout which is an achievement in itself. With songs like ‘Maybe’ featuring Intriguing storytelling lyrics, the lyrical elements act as the cherry on top of the cake.

The debut albums Idiopath and Omniopath by Kenton Hall are now available to be purchased and streamed on all major streaming platforms.
