Set to release afro-inspired new track ‘Body Is A Mood’, songwriter collaborates with reggae rapper B Miner to create a fusion genre that results in vocally interesting rhythms and rhymes. With influences of ToineRCTs Caribbean Roots,‘Body Is A Mood’ is also mixed with the sounds commonly found in afrobeats. As one of ToineRCT’s most groovy tracks, the seductive lyrics echo the sounds of influences from artists like Wizkid and Burna Boy.
Interested in songwriting from a young age, ToineRCT was raised in a household that placed emphasis on him learning something new. As a young child, ToineRCT was part of a choir led by ex-Broadway singer Alex Santoriello which encouraged him to further participate in music contests which then led on to him performing solo on the radio and chasing a career within the music industry.
Combining influences that are very similar to Wretch 32, Damian Marley and Chronixx, ToineRCT is defining his own sound and making a name for himself alongside his collaborators.
